3. New Property

Setting up a new property is straight forward. Click on the + New Property button in the toolbar, and fill out the Name, email, phone and address. You can fill in more details as well, but you can also do that later.

For this tutorial, add a new property, and fill out the Lawn Area field to 1000 square feet. Also fill out the relevant metric that associates with the other blueprint you created in step 3.

Save Property

Once you click save, you'll see a property card from the newly created property. You can always edit the details, by clicking on the property card.

Property Metrics

For each property, you should capture the correct property metrics for the blueprints your business supports. These metrics, like lawn size, driveway area etc, are fixed to the property and will rarely change.

Property Difficulty

You can also change the property difficulty settings. These are settings for each of the blueprint, and will adjust the labor time for the job. Some properties have the same physical dimensions, but can have different difficulty levels (like if a property is on an incline, or is difficult to access). You will use this setting, so you can keep your blueprint fixed, while tweaking the calculated cost based on the specific property's difficulty.
